Ok, so there’s an even better way to get fun guest photos during your wedding reception and we’re not talking about the old disposable camera on the table trick.  We are talking about LIVE Photobooths!

Its becoming an ever increasing trend to have a LIVE Photobooth at the reception and with a variety of props, you can rest assured that your guests will be having a fun time.

At MILQUE we include LIVE Photobooths for guests who are wanting reception photography.  We can supply funny dress ups as well as blackboard speech bubbles which are a great way for guests to write special messages to the newly wedded couple.

Etsy also have an amazing range of LIVE Photobooth props you can purchase – moustaches, signage, cardboard hats, bow ties, glasses – the list goes on!  Imagine how funny it will be when you see the photos of your mum, dad and nanna having a blast with all of the crazy props?  LIVE Photobooths really are for everyone and anyone!

How do we set it up?  Well, its basically a small studio with lights, normally setup in the same room as the reception.   We keep it open from the start of the reception, all the way to the speeches.  Its an incredibly fun way to get some hilarious reception photos of your nearest and dearerst!

Props in your Photos

Props in photos can look absolutely fantastic in your wedding photos, adding that “je ne sais quoi” (little something extra) to your shots.  Not only are they super fun to pose with, they can also help loosen up any nervous bridal party members, and believe us – there are always some members in your entourage who will try and shy away from the photographer!

At MILQUE, we can supply you with a few props and a lot of suggestions, but we recommend that you check out the website www.etsy.com where you will find a million gorgeous pieces to buy.  Everything from props to signage, to paper products, home wares, artwork and more!  Although they relatively cheap to purchase, for those on a budget – why not try and make your own?  Hand crafted items made with love will mean even more in your photos.  Other props we would suggest are balloons, old suitcases and bicycles, just to name a few.

Also, depending on the theme and location of your wedding, there could be some props that are either natural to your surroundings or supplied as part of your big day.
